There\u2019s something magical about Podlington.<\/p>\n

Coincidence and serendipity are hard at work in our village and always with the aim of bringing together two men who are meant for each other, whether they are looking for love or not.<\/p>\n

Here love is given a second chance, opposites attract, and enemies become lovers.<\/p>\n

Alex Jane<\/h4>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

\n

After spending years creating stories in her head, Alex started writing them down and then found she couldn\u2019t stop. Despite the late start, she now writes m\/m romance about found families, sometimes with a historical feel\u2014and the occasional\n werewolf.<\/p>\n

Free from aspirations of literary greatness, Alex simply hopes to spin a good yarn of love and life, wrapped up with a happy ending. And if her characters have to go through Hell to get there, she\u2019s a-okay with that.<\/p>\n

Helena Stone can\u2019t remember a life before words and reading. After growing up in a household where no holiday or festivity was complete without at least one new book, it\u2019s hardly surprising she now owns more books than shelf space\n while her Kindle is about to explode. <\/p>\n

The urge to write did come <\/em>as a surprise. The realisation that people might enjoy her words was a delightful shock. Now that the writing bug has well and truly taken hold, Helena can no longer imagine not sharing\n the characters and stories in her head and heart with the rest of the world. <\/p>\n

Having left the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam for the peace and quiet of the Irish countryside she divides her time between reading, writing, long walks, and her part-time job in a library. A grown-up daughter and her ever-loving\n and patient husband make sure she occasionally takes a break too.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

H J Perry used to collect paper maps, but now she has the Ordnance Survey App on her phone. She still collects print books as well as ebooks.<\/p>\n

She\u2019s in her 50s, pansexual, and the mother of 3 children.<\/p>\n

A paid-up member of both the National Trust and English Heritage, she is fascinated by history and how it has shaped the world today. She loves visiting old buildings where she lets her imagination run wild with the things that might\n have happened there and how people lived in the past.<\/p>\n

Thoroughly English, Helen lives in a Midlands village, which is made up of just one street of houses – actually, they are just along one side of the road. Her home is sandwiched between farmland and she wakes up to the sound of bleating\n sheep and a cockerel. <\/p>\n

There is only a post box, a bus stop, a butcher\u2019s shop, a church, and a school in her village. That\u2019s all. But England is densely populated, so everything she could ever need is only a few miles away in the surrounding towns and cities.<\/p>\n

Her family comes from The Midlands and the south western counties of England (where she was raised), so Helen is very familiar with the real area around the fictional location of Podlington.<\/p>\n

Riza began writing stories at a young age to the a\u0336n\u0336n\u0336o\u0336y\u0336a\u0336n\u0336c\u0336e\u0336 delight of anyone she could b\u0336u\u0336l\u0336l\u0336y\u0336 persuade to read them. Now somewhat older, if not wiser, things haven’t really changed.<\/p>\n

Riza lives in England where they enjoy adding extra letters to words, tea, and discussing the weather (it’s always raining). Late diagnosed with autism and ADHD, Riza is passionate about disability rights and inclusivity both in the\n real world and her stories.
